Burger King, 14th Avenue, Borough Park, Brooklyn - Thursday 02/08/2018 - 20:30#

Agent Nikita (Emma), Agent Lee (Marcus Chen) and Dr. Dee Turner meet “Agent Blake” at Burger King. He welcomes them to Operation BLISTER II and briefs them on the following:

• A routine scan of crime reports brought a cluster of child disappearances around a suspected unnatural location to Delta Green’s attention.
• The site is the S. Gerritsen Mansion. Delta Green knows almost nothing about the mansion, only that it was the epicenter of a completely redacted operation called BLISTER in 1961.
• Over the last six months, three children have gone missing within five kilometers of the mansion.
  • March 13: Catherine Strauch, White female, age 7 months.
  • April 11: Franklin Elders, Black male, age 11 months.
  • May 13: Sandra Cohen, White female, age 2.
• Local law enforcement has attempted to explain away the vanished children as kidnappings or parental abductions, though two of the three are still under active investigation.

Operation Objectives#

• Investigate the disappearances of the three children.
• Determine whether the source of the disappearances is unnatural, and whether they are connected to the S. Gerritsen mansion.
• If they uncover the unnatural, Agents are to stop any incursion and report it to Delta Green. A telephone number is provided along with a code: 6644.
• Bring any books recovered to Green Box 1191 (map and code provided).

A Visit to Gerritsen Mansion – 02/08/2018 - 22:00#

The Agents have Uber take them to Gerritsen Mansion. A cursory investigation reveals a Federal style four-story building, covered in scaffolding, plastic tarps and construction elements, and appears to be undergoing renovation. In the area behind the mansion there is a small dirt yard occupied by two open, industrial-size dumpsters. The yard opens on a narrow alley. No cameras are spotted around the site.

The day ends as the Agents return back to their room at the Hilton Brooklyn, New York.

Friday 03/08/2018 - 09:00 – Investigations#

Agent Lee:

• Spends most of the day on research activities. He unearths the following information:
  • The history of S. Gerritsen Mansion.
  • The strange life of Robert Suydam.
  • Xenov Construction and Bloomfeld Associates.
  • Old and modern sewer system maps.

Agent Nikita:

• Visits Catherine Strauch’s mother, Emily. She obtains most of the same information mentioned in the police report, but on her way out she notices that the retractable bottom section of the fire escape ladder was missing.

Dr. Dee Turner:

• Visits the Atlantic Avenue Street Market in the Boerum Hill neighborhood.
• Citing interest in purchasing a condo from the Deiseil Condominiums project, she arranges an appointment with Matthew Edwards from Xenov Construction, at the construction site on Saturday, the 4th of October, at noon. Fake name and burner phone number provided.
• Visits Devon Elders, Franklin’s father. In his house, Dee notices that the mother of the child was missing from all the framed photos. He takes her to the location where he last saw his missing boy.

Suydam’s Crypt#

The Agents meet around 19:00 at Hana Sushi in Red Hook. After sharing all their findings and theories, they decide to visit Suydam’s Crypt in Greenwood Cemetery.

They arrive at dusk at a small, out-of-the-way crypt. Talking to Gil Sergen they find out that:

• He reported the break-in to the police and filed all the appropriate reports.
• The crypt suddenly flooded back in July, and a work crew opened it for the first time in 15 years.
• They found the lock on the door untouched.
• Inside, the bronze coffin had been cracked and opened.
• No remains were located. They were presumed stolen. The grid drain on the floor was pulled aside and dropped. Debris had fallen into the pipe and blocked it.

Later in the evening, Agent Lee manages to hack into the Brooklyn Police Department’s files and extract photographs taken by the police.

Carefully examining the elaborate geometrical shapes and arcane symbols etched in the bronze coffin, Agent Nikita’s knowledge of the unnatural, conjures up a name: “Lilith”.
