The Road to El Paso - Friday July 10th, 2020

Agent Cod contacts Agent Charlie and informs him about the case, as well as a potential asset, Pitzerelli, that the Outlaws might be able to use.
Working Group MASTICATE drives to El Paso over the course of a couple of days, with their handler sedated and unconscious in the trunk of the car.

Meeting Charlie - Sunday July 12th, 2020
Upon arrival in El Paso, the Agents book motel rooms. Pitzerelli is sedated again.
Agent Cod, carrying Conradin’s case evidence folder, drives seven kilometers east into the desert to meet her Cell leader. When she arrives, she perceives a very strong Scent emanating from Agent Charlie and barely restrains herself from attacking him.
After presenting the facts of the case, she manages to persuade him to begrudgingly provide support:
- The Agents gain access to whatever databases the Outlaws can reach as part of their day jobs.
- MASTICATE receives the key and location of a Green Box, which they may use to obtain supplies from and/ or conduct off-site interrogations.
Motel Investigations
Agent Taramis discovers Conradin’s address using his access to the IRS DRT network. Tillman has never paid rent or a mortgage, but he’s listed as ‘manager’ of a single rental property owned by a Laugherty subsidiary called SchoolShield.
Agent Cod’s sedative wasn’t properly measured, and after her departure, Pitzerelli regains consciousness. He pleads with the Agents to reconsider their actions, warning that it would be extremely dangerous to go after Conradin without his help. Agent Jocko slaps him back into unconsciousness.
The El Paso Green Box - 20:30

Following Agent Cod’s return, the Agents drive to an abandoned, windswept house out in the desert of north El Paso County, minutes away from the state line to New Mexico. The place is barely more than a room and a kitchen. Around the back, hidden under a thick tangle of buffalo grass, is a rusty-looking trap door.
Items retrieved:
- Agent Cod: Grenade and Key
- Agent Taramis: Lunchbox and Book
- Agent Jocko: Rifle and Machine Gun
Pitzerelli’s Demise
Given Pitzerelli’s deteriorating physical condition - and his need for hospital care he cannot receive -Agent Locke considers mercifully ending his life. She burns the photo of him she has been carrying but ultimately cannot bring herself to kill him.
Agent Cod insists on killing Pitzerelli.
His body is buried in the desert.
Postmortem Investigations - 23:00
The Agents stop at a Taco Bell for food and drinks.
Agent Cod calls Enzo (Bond) to inquire about local criminal gangs.
Agent Locke finds mentions of the Bridge of Hope in the news.
Before returning to their motel, they drive past Tillman’s house and notice that no lights are on.
Agent Jocko suffers another bat attack.
Blue Monday - Monday July 13th, 2020
In the aftermath of Pitzerelli’s death, Working Group MASTICATE splits into two teams:
- Agents Jocko and Locke head out to Tillman’s apartment to set up surveillance equipment.
- Agents Cod and Taramis seek out Nelinha Esteves of the Bridge of Hope.
