The investigators gather in Alistair’s house in the afternoon and share their findings before heading out again.
The Yellow Dress
Beatrice goes shopping and buys a new yellow dress. She notices a glowing Yellow Sign on a placard.

New Orlean Daily Gazette
Alistair visits the New Orlean Daily Gazette where Martha is waiting for him. They spend time together in the newspaper morgue but don’t find any additional information on the Swords Krewe members.

Tulane University
Lucidia and Raymond visit the university and examine the location where Gavvin’s body was found.
Lucidia researches the snake in the university’s library but doesn’t find any references to its strange triangular symbol. She consults Professor Lynn on the matter, who promises to let her know about the snake’s venom potency.
Tournier’s Home
Raymond visits Professor Auguste Tourneur at his home in Uptown and learns about the discovery of the body as well as his opinion regarding the state it was found in.

Sunday’s Party
Alistair discovers a philanthropic gathering at the offices of CC Oil Company on Sunday on the 7th of February 7th at 8pm.
Lucidia offers to pull some strings to get invitations for the investigators.
Krewe’s Warehouse
The investigators disguise themselves costumes and head out the address of the Most Honorable Krewe of Swords warehouse.
Beatrice, dressed as a bunny, seduces Jonathan the guard, pickpockets his keys and after handing them over to her companions, she lures him away from the building, promising him to participate in a match of strip poker.
Inside the warehouse, they discover:
- Decorations incorporating the Yellow Sign, created in the main workplace.
- Paperwork indicates that the workers were hired on Papa Screech’s recommendation.
- A small safe, which they take with them.
The Forgery
Alistair notices Martha waiting for him outside his house and asks his companions to meet him at Lucidia’s place. He Martha lets in and spends time with her. Later in the night, while she is still at the house, he transforms the brooch Beatrice stole into something that appears valuable.
The Safe
Lucidia wakes up Anton, her gardener, and has him force open the safe with his gardening tools. Inside the safe, they find $100 in cash and a strange idol carved from an oily-looking green soapstone. It depicts a disturbing amalgamation of a human, dragon, octopus
